Billingsley and Hudson Hurt Online Sports Betting

Online sports betting odds on Wednesday are going to be different for the Los Angeles Dodgers since pitcher Chad Billingsley was scratched from his start and Orlando Hudson has a strained groin.

The Dodgers have been a popular choice in sportsbetting this season at the sports book but losing two of their top players does not help.

Online sports betting has been successful on the Dodgers this season but in recent weeks they have started to slip.  The Dodgers could have some struggles in sportsbetting on Wednesday since it may be a bullpen by committee game against the Giants.  The Dodgers are probably going to use Jeff Weaver and James McDonald for Wednesday’s game as online sports betting info shows. Los Angeles should not be without Billingsley for long though and that is good news for them in online sports betting since Billingsley has been their top pitcher this season. "You’ve got the Giants," Billingsley said. "They’re right behind us, they’re playing well. It’s a tough start to miss."

What is also important to remember in online sports betting when betting the Dodgers in the next couple of days is that All-Star second baseman Orlando Hudson is expected to be out Tuesday and Wednesday.  He has a 10-game hitting streak and is an important cog in the Los Angeles offense as online sports betting statistics indicate.  Online sports betting tells us that Hudson was moving to back up Mark Loretta on Monday but he changed direction too quick and he felt an injury. "I don’t wear spikes," Hudson said. "I never do. Always wear rubber [cleats]. It’s just one of those things."

The Dodgers are considered one of the favorites to win the World Series in online sports betting.  They are 7.5 to 1 in online sports betting at the online sportsbook. Those online sports betting numbers are second to only the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League.  The New York Yankees are the overall favorite to win this year’s World Series in sportsbetting followed by Boston and then the Phillies.

Los Angeles has the second best home record in the National League behind the San Francisco Giants as online sports betting stats indicate. The Dodgers were thought to have an insurmountable lead in the National League West but that lead has shrunk to just 5.5 over the Colorado Rockies as sportsbetting tells us.
