Sports betting should be exciting this week as the SEC Championship has #1 Florida facing #2 Alabama with the winner getting a spot in the BCS championship game. It is the second straight online sportsbetting season where the SEC title game will be #1 vs. #2.

Sportsbetting had Florida at #1 in the AP poll as they received 46 first-place votes after routing Florida State 37-10 on Saturday. Alabama received seven first-place votes while Texas is at #3 and got seven first-place votes.  A year ago it was Florida that was #2 in the country heading into the SEC title game while Alabama was #1.  This year it is reversed in sportsbetting.

Not much changed in the AP Poll this online sports betting week with the top six remaining the same.  TCU is at #4 and headed to a BCS bowl game. They are followed by Cincinnati and Boise State.   Oregon moved up to #7 in the AP poll.  They will face #13 Oregon State on Thursday in sportsbetting with the winner heading to the Rose Bowl to face the 8th ranked Buckeyes.  Iowa and Penn State complete the Top 10.

Virginia Tech is at #11 in the AP poll and they are followed by Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets lost this past week in sportsbetting action to Georgia but the game didn’t mean much since Georgia Tech faces Clemson this sports betting week with the winner going to the Orange Bowl. Clemson fell all the way to #25 after their loss to South Carolina in sports betting. Pittsburgh dropped to #14 after losing 19-16 to West Virginia.  The Panthers though have their big game this week as they face Cincinnati in online sports betting. That sportsbetting game will decide the Big East title and a BCS bowl spot.  West Virginia with the online sports betting win moved into the rankings at #24.

LSU is at #15 followed by BYU and Miami of Florida.  Houston moved up to #18 after a huge rout of Rice in sports betting.  It was a seven spot jump in the poll as sports betting noted.  California is at #19 while USC is 20th. Nebraska got into the rankings at #21 after winning this past week. They play Texas in the Big 12 title game on Saturday in sports betting. Oklahoma State dropped to #22 and was lucky to stay in the poll at all after getting routed 27-0 by Oklahoma.  Stanford was at #23 after win over Notre Dame.  Three teams fell out of the rankings. They were Utah, Mississippi and North Carolina.
