Breeders Cup wagering for the 2009 Breeders Cup has 14 races held over two days, November 6-7 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.

There are a number of great Breeders Cup betting options available this year. Breeders Cup wagering includes two pick sixes this year since there are now six races on Friday and eight on Saturday. 

There are $5.5-million in guaranteed pools this year in Breeders Cup wagering. There will be ten-cent superfectas and rolling pick threes. There are two new Breeders Cup betting options this year.  There is a Ladies’ Classic – Breeders’ Cup Classic daily double and there is a Breeders’ Cup jockey Bet.

Friday’s Breeders Cup wagering includes six Breeders Cup races while there will be eight on Saturday. The first Breeders Cup wagering race is the $500,000 Breeders’ Cup Marathon. It is followed in Breeders Cup betting by the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Next up is the $2-million Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies followed by the $2-million Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf. The $1-million Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint is next and Friday’s Breeders Cup wagering concludes with the $2-million Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic.

Saturday’s Breeders Cup wagering begins with the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf.  It is followed in Breeders Cup wagering by the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint and the $2-million Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Sprint.  That race in Breeders Cup betting is followed by the $2-million Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and the $2-million TVG Breeders’ Cup Mile. Next up is the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile followed by the $3-million Emirates Airline Breeders’ Cup Turf. The $5-million Breeders’ Cup Classic concludes Breeders Cup wagering.

All of the races are expected to have full fields.  There will be win, place and show betting and exacta and trifecta wagering on every race. There will be rolling pick threes beginning with the first Breeders Cup wagering race and continuing through all races on both days.

One of the new wagers in Breeders Cup wagering will be the Head 2 Head Jockey bet where wagers will be offered on the jockey who has the most wins in this year’s Breeders’ Cup.  The other new Breeders Cup betting wager is the Daily Double that links up the Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic on Friday to the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday.
