Preakness is just too favorite-oriented to throw the low priced horse out. In many horse races you want to look to beat the favorite. That is not the case in Preakness betting. You need to look for ways to put the favorite into exacta and trifecta tickets. That means the goal is to find other horses that can finish 2nd and 3rd in Preakness Stakes betting. If the favorite does happen to lose then you would have a better paying exacta or trifecta if you boxed the horses together.
