Spring 2010 Online Wagering Playoffs Have Been Fantastic

December 1st, 2021 Online Wagering

The playoff spring season of any sport are always the climax of sports betting but this year the NHL and NBA postseason online wagering has been particularly interesting for sports betting fans.

The NHL playoff betting and the NBA playoff betting always run concurrent with one another and for that very reason April and May –and now even parts of June- often comprise some of the best online wagering moments of the year.  Both of these professional sports betting leagues have prolonged regular seasons and online wagering fans are richly rewarded for the long seasons by the frenetic energy of the playoffs.

But this year the playoff action has been taken to another level in both the NHL and NBA betting and the spring of 2010 will surely go down as one of the great betting seasons in recent online wagering history. Take the NHL playoff betting for example; it has just about everything sports betting fans could hope for (underdogs, powerhouses, upsets, re-writing of the hockey betting history, etc.).  In the West, everything went as scripted as fans saw the two best teams in the conference plow through their playoff competition and engage in battle in conference finals betting spring action.

In the East, things couldn’t have been more different, with upsets and lower seeds beating the favorites in every round of the NHL playoff betting.  Could anyone have predicted #8 seed vs. a #7 seed in the NHL playoff betting Conference Finals (Montreal vs. Philadelphia)?  Or that a Philly would come back from trailing 3-0 in its series vs. Boston?

Even the NBA playoff betting action has turned crazy.  Through the first few rounds of NBA playoff wagering online action it seemed as if predictability would define the post season basketball betting.  And after the Lakers and Celtics both jumped out to big leads in the conference finals online wagering action it looked like everything was settled.  But with the West series tied up at 2-2 and the Magic pushing the series in the East to a 3-2 record anything seems possible now.

So sit back and enjoy the ride because nobody knows how this sports betting odyssey is going to end.
