Even better for most sports fans is the fact that football season gets underway. NFL and college football games get underway and headline the online wagering scene through February. College football games get underway during the last week in August and the NFL opens a week or two later.
As the most popular sport in the US, football betting holds the attention of the sports betting public like no other sport. With college football on Saturday’s and NFL action on Sunday’s it’s a perfect combination for sports fans.
And as September runs into October the NHL hockey action gets into full swing and after the exciting NHL playoffs last season who knows what the NHL has in store for fans this year.
Before you know it, October draws to a close and the NBA season gets underway. This year with the free agent circus that took place and the relocation of so many top-level superstars the NBA action will be as unpredictable as it’s ever been.
So if you’ve been suffering through online wagering withdrawals and getting sick of women’s tennis and Little League World Series action, take heart because the meat of the sports betting lineup is just around the corner.
