NBA Online Wager: Impressive NBA Rookie Class In 2010. It wasn’t that long ago that the NBA feeder system for talent was broken and NBA online wager fans watched as unproven high schoolers were handed multi-million dollar contracts by NBA franchises willing to take a gamble on their upside even though they’d never played against any competition better than their high school opponents.

Obviously there were success players like LeBron James that transitioned seamlessly from high school phenom into NBA superstar.  But for the most part the players flamed out and even if they did succeed in the NBA it usually took years before they became contributors; think Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O’Neal.

But with the recent change in NBA entry rules that forces players to either attend a year of college, play overseas or even the Development league for year players are entering the NBA a bit more polished and there have been less cases of young men reaching the NBA online wagering and being completely unprepared to succeed.

This year in particular there are a couple of promising young players who are looking to make a major impact in the league as rookies and if you’re looking to make an online wager on the NBA action this season you might be wise to keep them in mind.

Headlining this year’s rookie class is the #1 pick overall, from Kentucky, PG John Wall.  This guy can do it all, including dance up a storm in pre-game introductions.  But the numbers speak for themselves.  Through 3 games he’s been one of the best players in the league averaging 23.7 ppg, 10.3 assists per game and 4 steals a game.  If he keeps those numbers up he’ll be a legend.

Another player in this year’s rookie class to watch out for is former #1 pick overall , Blake Griffen, who actually entered the NBA last year but was injured in the first game of his career.  Anyone interested in making an online NBA wager on the LA Clippers should keep an eye on this guy.  He’s a beast in the low post that’s averaging 16.8 ppg and 10.3 rebounds per game through 4 games.

Fans should also keep an eye on Sacramento’s Demarcus Cousins (14.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg), Minnesota’s Wesley Johnson (11.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, and New Jersey’s Derrick Favors (10.3 pgg, 10.0 rpg).
