NFL Online Wagering Heads Into Final Week of Preseason Action

December 9th, 2021 Online Wagering

NFL Online Wagering Heads Into Final Week of Preseason Action. It’s hard to believe but the NFL online wagering is now heading into its final week of competition which means that the regular season is just around the corner. The NFL preseason is generally seen as a boring but necessary evil for football fans starving for a little taste of game day competition.  It’s generally not all that revealing as starters tend to play very few minutes but now that the third week of the preseason (generally seen as the real dress rehearsal for the regular season when starters play extended minutes) there’s a couple conclusions that that the savvy fan looking to make a wager on the upcoming regular season can draw.

First, the Green Bay Packers offense looks like a well oiled machine and woe is the defense that has to go up against this beast.  The NFC Central defenses will have their hands full as QB Aaron Rodgers already looks to be in mid-season form and ready to improve on his 4,434 yard, 30 TD performance from last season; and watch out for RB Ryan Grant who should be one of the lading total yard producers from the line of scrimmage.

Second, even though it was just a preseason game, the Steelers defense looked pitiful against an anemic Denver run game.  Last year the Steelers defense took a step back as All Pro safety Troy Polamalu missed most of the NFL online wagering season.  But Polamalu was in the lineup on versus Denver, as was DE Aaron Smith, and all the other returned starters except CB Brian McFadden and the Broncos made them look silly.  This could be in interesting season for the Steelers fans if this unit performs like this in the regular season.

Third, Tom Brady looks to be back to MVP form.  He was nearly perfect in his final tune up against the Rams and with Wes Welker back in the lineup and Randy Moss still at the top of his game, the New England passing game could rack up huge yards this season.

And in case you missed it, CJ Spiller just might be most exciting player heading into the 2010 NFL online wagering season.  The big play maker out Clemson has likely grabbed the starting RB spot in Buffalo through injuries and his own stellar play and should be a TD machine for a Bills offense that has lacked any razzle-dazzle for quite some time.
