Chiefs Are Only NFL Team Still Undefeated in Online Wagering Action …Say What???

December 10th, 2021 Online Wagering

The headline is not a typo my friends; one month into the 2010 NFL online wagering action and the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) are the only team that has yet to taste the bitter flavor of defeat.

How can that be?

Well, it’s a bit difficult to explain to be sure, but give credit where credit is due.  That the Chiefs are the only team that’s still undefeated is a great credit to the new coaching staff (Todd Haley, Charlie Weiss) and to the GM (Scott Pioli).  In just a matter of a few short years this team has successfully created a winner out of the NFL scrap heap and is worth taking a look at if you’re considering making an NFL wager.

When the team traded for QB Matt Cassel two years ago when Piolo jumped the Patriots ship there were plenty of football minds out there that were intrigued by the move.  But after a highly disappointing debut and with injuries racking the roster this team sputtered.

But after several highly successful draft classes, a few key trades and some scheme upgrades the Chiefs have the look –and record- of a winner.

No one is going to claim that just because KC has the best record in the NFL that this unit is anywhere near the best in the league.  In fact, after Week 5 when this team travels to Indianapolis to be dismantled by Peyton Manning & Co. the reality of the 18 week NFL season will start setting in.

So far the Chiefs had a well executed opening week win over a good San Diego squad.

Then they followed that up with a road win against Cleveland and win over the Niners at home.  Combined these last two teams have just 1 win in eight tries: not exactly Super Bowl contenders.

But nonetheless the Chiefs should be celebrated for their early success against the NFL online wagering competition.

The defense has been stout and the offense actually ranks in the top 10 in the NFL online wagering competition for the first time in the 21st century.  A month from now this team could easily be back to .500 for now, tip your hat to a success story in KC.
