Certainly, a Week 1 matchup at Philadelphia will be quite the baptism of online wagering for Schottenheimer. He was a compromise choice after Jones failed to secure a major catch. Cause by Jones’ control of the roster and football decisions. Initially, Philadelphia was one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season. The Eagles’ dominant win over the Kansas City Chiefs is impossible for the masses to ignore. Last year, the Eagles dominated the Cowboys, winning both meetings by a combined score of 75-13.

The second game of the NFL betting odds season takes place on Friday night. To clarify, the Kansas City Chiefs meet the Los Angeles Chargers in Kansas City. Last year, Los Angeles showed profound improvement under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Now, he enters his second season, facing high expectations and possibilities alongside quarterback Justin Herbert.

The Chiefs are on a mission to redeem themselves for their humiliating loss in the Super Bowl to the Eagles last February. Specifically, Kansas City was outcoached and outplayed, blowing the opportunity to win an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title. Head coach Andy Reid, QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce, PK Harrison Butker, and the rest of the Chiefs vow to make it back to Super Sunday.

The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots are coming off disappointing seasons that led to coaching changes. Correlate that two seasoned veterans and proven winners will be making their debuts in week 1 at Gillette Stadium. Last year, Pete Carroll took a sabbatical after a long and successful run with the Seattle Seahawks. Now he is the head coach of the Raiders. Caroll vives them instant credibility and valuable HC experience.

In like manner, the same holds for Mike Vrabel, who led the Tennessee Titans to one of their most successful eras before running out of steam two years ago. New England flopped in its first season without Bill Belichick. Thus, Vrabel was hired to tighten and toughen a soft team that was woefully outclassed in 2024.
