That loss can certainly complicate the Musketeers changes if getting a top seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, after the team was beaten on the backboards 44-39 by Seton Hall in that Sunday loss, and at the time were ranked 13th in the nation on rebounds.
In their last Wednesday’s game their duo of J. Farr a senior and T. Bluiett a sophomore each scored 18 points and were the standout stars for the Musketeers in that game, as the team overall had shot a sluggish 39% from the court. Fans are wondering if the Xavier team was still hung over from their win over the Wildcats the previous week, as prior to that at Villanova the dominated the boards and assists for the game, while they had 6 players score in double figures.
Yes, your team is cited as one of the top teams to take the national title this season, even as they are yet to prove in their final home game that the loss to Seton Hall was just a jinx, and show that by beating the Bluejays.
