Internet Gambling Companies – Matt Leinart Lands in Houston

January 21st, 2022 Online Gambling

Although the odds at Internet gambling companies won’t be affected, the Houston Texans made news on Monday as they signed former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart. The former Heisman winner who was expected to be the starting quarterback in Arizona will start as the third-string quarterback in Houston.  Unless Houston starter Matt Schaub gets hurt, it is unlikely that Leinart will be affecting online gambling NFL odds at Sbg global.com this season.

Not Much Interest in Leinart – Houston was really the only team that had much interesting Leinart. The Texans had an interest because Matt Schaub has been injury prone and their current backup is Dan Orlovsky. There is no guaranteed that Leinart will even be able to beat out Orlovsky for the backup job but the Texans thought Leinart was worth the risk.  Houston signed Leinart to a one-year deal.

Leinart’s fall – Leinart was supposed to be a franchise quarterback after being taken in the top 10 in the 2006 NFL Draft.  He started his rookie season but in 2007 he got hurt and Kurt Warner came in and took over. Leinart never got the job back until this season. He started the preseason as the starting quarterback but inspired no confidence among teammates or among the coaching staff and Arizona decided that Derek Anderson was better.  They couldn’t keep Leinart as the backup because he complained all the time so they simply got rid of him.  Now Leinart gets another chance in Houston.

It is pretty sad that Leinart didn’t turn into a quality NFL quarterback and impact online gambling odds at Internet gambling companies.  He had some things go against him in Arizona but he also hurt himself with issues off the field.  He also was not a leader among his teammates and he continually chirped and complained on and off the field.  It is really tells a lot when players don’t come to your defense. You really can’t find anyone in Arizona that is sad to see Leinart gone. They are happy with Derek Anderson and relieved that Leinart is no longer on the team. When teammates don’t stand up and give support you know the player is not wanted and that was the case with Leinart in Arizona.
