He started the preseason as the starting quarterback but inspired no confidence among teammates or among the coaching staff and Arizona decided that Derek Anderson was better. They couldn’t keep Leinart as the backup because he complained all the time so they simply got rid of him. Now Leinart gets another chance in Houston.
It is pretty sad that Leinart didn’t turn into a quality NFL quarterback and impact online gambling odds at Internet gambling companies. He had some things go against him in Arizona but he also hurt himself with issues off the field.
