Now that the 2015-16 NBA Regular season is in the 2nd half and moving forward, this coming Tuesday night the 1st of March 2016 we have an interesting match-up between 33-27 Atlanta Hawks (5th in East) playing at the 53-5 Golden State Warriors (1st in West) with the game being played at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California with the tip-off scheduled for 10:40 PM ET.
The fans now are wondering if any team can halt the winning ways of the Warriors in this 2015-16 seasons. This past Saturday it appeared that the Thunder of OKC would do it, but they lost the game in OT thanks to the clutch 3-pointers by splash brother S. Curry at the Thunder. Now the Warriors return to home court to take on the Atlanta Hawks whom are one of the teams that on any given day can beat any team in the NBA, so the Warriors beware. The fans are wondering whether the Hawks can upset the Warriors or will Golden State maintain their perfect no loss record on their home court this season?
Should you be one that will Bet on NBA at a sportsbook and are a fan of the 33-27 Atlanta Hawks, your team looked good this past Sunday with their win over the Hornets of Charlotte 87-76, and that was their 2nd consecutive double digit win, and bring them to this date with the Warriors in a very confident frame of mind. Even as the team struggled somewhat offensively against the Hornets, they still were good enough to beat a tough opponent. The Hawks A. Horford had 14 rebounds and scored 13 points for a double-double, the former Warriors K. Bazemore led the Hawks with 14 points in the game and 6 rebounds. Yes, the team only scoring 87 points in that game has to be concerning, combined with the fact that in their last game with the Warriors they also were unable to make triple-digits as the final tally was 102-92 in that game.
If the Hawks are going to have a chance in upsetting the Warriors they will need to continue and step up their talented ball handling in order to win this game. Against the Hornets they found it easy to win the assists challenge at 29-16, and they are ranked 2nd in the League in that category behind Golden State. But in reality the Hawks are coming into the buzz tank, as they have only won 1 of their 6 games at the Oracle Arena, and 2nd because the Warriors have not lost at home this season. If the Hawks are to win this one, they will have to have a perfect night on offense and defense to get the win.
For those fans of the 53-5 Golden State Warriors if you did not see your teams exciting and thrilling win over the Thunder last Sunday night 121-118 in OT, they also became the 1st to lock up a playoff spot for this 2015-16 seasons. You also missed their star Curry have an outstanding and unbelievable performance. He ended the game with 42 points which was his 3 straight games with 40 or more points broke his own 3-point record for the most in a season and now he has 288 3-pointers, and there are still some 24 games left to play this season. To end the game in OT he completed a 32.8 foot 3-pointer that won the game with not more than a second remaining in OT and that tied the NBA record of a single game total of 3 pointers at 12.
But let’s not overlook his teammates who assisted in the team prevailing over the Thunder of OKC. Splash brother K. Thompson has 32 points with several meaningful points both in regular time as well at OT, and D. Green ended the game with 14 assists and 14 rebounds for a double-double but was unable to step up his scoring performance. In that game the Warriors did expose a problem with their controlling the backboards or rebounding, as the Thunder had a big margin on rebounds with them having 62 while the Warriors had 32, and the extra possessions from that gave the Thunder a great chance to overcome and beat the Warriors,
Having said that, the Warriors struggling on the boards in that game is not typical of their game as they rank 4th in the league averaging some 46.4 rebounds each game, and their opponent, the Hawks are only ranked 28th in the league in that category. Not only that we can’t overlook the fact that in recent games, the Warriors 7 of their ultimate 8 games in total, and remember that the Warriors have not lost a game at home this season.
The sports betting prediction for this game between the Golden State Warriors hosting the Atlanta Hawks, you will see the Warriors continue to be undefeated at the Oracle Arena this season as the beat the Hawks 118-101!
