76ers Looking to Improve vs. Online Gambling Odds

76ers Looking to Improve vs. Online Gambling Odds. Online gambling handicappers have seen the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers fall into one of the least appealing teams on the board with internet gambling companies. Online gambling success has been a long time coming for Philadelphia as they are one of the most mediocre teams in the NBA.  Perhaps that will change with a new coach next season.

Online gambling handicappers noted that the 76ers just completed their fifth consecutive non-winning season as they finished 27-55 straight up, 34-48 against the spread, and out of the playoffs in the notoriously weak NBA Eastern Conference.  The performance cost head coach Eddie Jordan his job as he was fired after just one season on the job.  Jordan had previously coached the Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards.  At Washington he had only moderate success.

Philadelphia will begin the 2010-11 online gambling season with their eighth head coach in ten years.  What was once one of the model franchises in the NBA has now become a bastion of mediocrity that has problems that obviously extend far beyond the coaches that they have hired. The team’s chief operating officer Peter Lukko said that he intended to be the point man in the process of hiring a replacement and that “We’re going to evaluate the organization as a whole structurally and we’ll go from there.”

Team President and General Manager Ed Stefanski is also under heavy fire.  His $80 million move to sign Elton Brand away from the Los Angeles Clippers went bust and his $80 agreement with Adre Iguodala has not paid off on the floor or against the odds at Internet gambling companies.  He called this past season “unacceptable.” “I’m going to do as well as I can while I’m here, however long that is” said Stefanski in regards to his own status.

Jordon spent the online gambling season trying to sell his half court, backdoor-cut style of offense known as the “Princeton” offense but the players never bought into it.  “It didn’t fit, it didn’t work out,” said Brand.  “I think with the personnel we have, the offense could have been set up for what we have instead of just bringing in a set offense in mind.  It really didn’t work for the pieces we have.” Brand and Jordan spent a tumultuous online gambling season together as the coach benched the super star due to his inability to play good defense and his skill set that has gone down at an alarming rate.
