Internet Betting – Boise State Wins First Big Game of the College Football Season

Internet Betting – Boise State Wins First Big Game of the College Football Season. The Broncos are ranked third in the country and they could end up playing for a national title. Their win over Virginia Tech was exciting, extremely important and a fantastic game for online betting gamblers to watch. Boise is for Real – If you didn’t believe in Boise State before Monday’s victory over Virginia Tech then you have to be convinced now.  The Broncos went into a hostile environment, came through in the clutch and beat a top ten team.  Kellen Moore is a quality quarterback and Boise is extremely well coached.

Exciting Monday Night Opener – While Monday’s game was not an NFL contest it was sure a great way to start the Monday night football season. It would be hard for an NFL game to be any better.  Boise State jumped out to a 17-0 lead but Virginia Tech did not roll over and die. The Hokies rallied behind quarterback Tyrod Taylor and had the lead late in the game.  Moore was just too good and led Boise on the game winning drive and hit Austin Pettis with a 13-yard TD pass with 1:09 left. It was the 15th straight win for Boise State.  The Broncos are now 4-1 vs. teams in the top 10 since 2000.

Virginia Tech Doesn’t Win Big Games – We all love Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer but the bottom line is that his team doesn’t win big games. They are now 0-22 against top 5 teams away from home and 1-26 overall. Keep in mind that the game against Boise State was technically a neutral site game in Baltimore although most of the fans were cheering for Tech.

Boise’s Schedule – If you look at Boise State’s remaining schedule you will not find many difficult games. In fact, the only game that looks like it could be challenging against the Internet betting odds at SBG is the one against Oregon State in two weeks and Boise gets that game at home. The WAC is terrible and Boise should run the table in their conference schedule. If they beat Oregon State on September 25th they should go unbeaten again.
