Canucks of Vancouver vs. Sharks of San Jose Preview

As the 2015-16 NHL Betting Regular season winds down and we think of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  The Canucks of Vancouver are playing at the Sharks of San Jose, both teams know their status regarding the playoffs as the Sharks are in and the Canucks are out.

But don’t let that persuade you as this Thursday night game with these 2 Pacific Division teams and strong rivals will not matter, as the Sharks seek to win all their remaining games for a better spot in the playoffs, while the Canucks now just want to be spoilers to the Sharks who have been their problematic NHL betting team for the ultimate 2 seasons.

The game is played on Thursday night the 31st of March as the 43-28-6 Sharks of San Jose host the 27-16-13 Canucks of Vancouver with the game being played at the SAP Center in San Jose, California and the puck-off takes place at 10:35 PM ET.

If you’re a NHL betting fan of the Pacific Division 27-36 Canucks of Vancouver and Bet on NHL at a sportsbook, you know your Canucks have taken a dive after a loss on Tuesday night 4-1 to the Sharks. Thus, they have now lost some 9 consecutive games.  Their present 67 points ranks them tied for the fewest points in the NHL, and that trend does not appear to be ending anytime lately.

Their 1 goal scored in that game came from Winger C. Higgins and that was just his 3rd goal this season, after returning from playing in the AHL earlier this season. That does not sit well for the fans when their leading scorer is a player who just returns from the minor leagues on the NHL. While their star players, the Sedin Brothers have not scored a goal in their ultimate 3 season games. That is quite incredible since Daniel Sedin is the team’s leading scorer with 27 goals and 59 points this season, while brother Henrik leads the team in assists with 28 to date. However, in their last 8 games the brothers have not scored a goal and have a combined mere 2 points.

If the Canucks are to win another game they need to get their mojo back on offense, and do a better job of covering the net. They struggled doing so against the Sharks this past Tuesday with their goalie have some 27 stops, whereas the Sharks goalie had 23 saves, but the 4 goals they allowed are too many for this Vancouver team.

To continue with their problems, in their ultimate 7 games they have managed to lose 5 of those games and if they don’t make a comeback soon they could be double-digit loser.

If you’re a fan of the Pacific Division 43-28-6 Sharks of San Jose, your team has already gained a berth in the playoffs with a great win Monday night over the Kings of L.A. then beat the Canucks the next night in their road games.

In their next game fans thought they would lay back, but instead L Couture scored 3 goals his 1st career hat trick and put the Sharks back in the playoff pool bidding. Presently they are only 3 points behind the Kings of L.A. in the Pacific Title race and they only have 5 games remaining in this regular season.

The Sharks will likely start goalie M. Jones who overcomes the Canucks even on their home rink, as in their ultimate 2 games this season played in Vancouver, their goalie Jones for those 2 games only allowed the Canucks to score just 3 goals.

The prediction for this game is that the Sharks of San Jose will put an end to the Canucks jinx and overcome Vancouver with a 3-1 victory and their 4th win of their 5 games with the Canucks this season!
