Nets Futility vs. Online Bookmaker Odds Continues

February 23rd, 2022 Online Offshore Bookmaker

Online bookmaker odds list the New Jersey Nets as underdogs in every offshore betting game. The Nets are on pace to have the worst year in NBA history. They have just seven wins on the season so they need to win two of their final twelve games to avoid setting the mark for the fewest wins ever in an NBA season.

Online bookmaker results indicate that the Nets are on an eight-game losing streak. They have also lost their last four against the NBA offshore sports betting number. The Nets have lost 14 straight games at home including 99-89 to Miami on Monday. Brook Lopez had 26 points but it was not enough for New Jersey to get the win.  New Jersey has 12 games left and they need to win at least two games.  The Philadelphia 76ers went 9-73 in 1972-73 so the Nets need two wins to match that total.  They need three wins to avoid tying the worst mark ever in NBA history.

New Jersey lost on Monday vs. online bookmaker lines without interim coach Kiki Vandeweghe, whose mother is ill in California. Assistant John Loyer coached the team on Monday. Things are so bad for New Jersey that fans are starting to wear bags over their head.  New Jersey CEO Brett Yormark was said to have yelled at one of the fans on Monday.

Could the Nets actually set the all-time record for futility?  Let’s look at their remaining games to see if there are any potential wins. Keep in mind that no win for New Jersey is going to be easy but some games will likely be out of reach.  The next two however, are not.  The Nets host Sacramento on Wednesday and the Kings are not any good.  They host Detroit on Friday and the Pistons are a very poor team.  The Nets need to win at least one of those two games or a date with NBA futility is likely.  They are probably not going to win at Chicago on Saturday.  Home games next week against San Antonio and Phoenix are likely losses.  They may not have much success at home against New Orleans either now that Chris Paul is back.  They have a winnable game at Washington early next month.  They are likely to lose at Milwaukee.  They could at least be competitive and have a chance at home against Chicago. A road game at Indiana gives them a chance. The last two games against Charlotte and Miami don’t figure to be easy.
