NHL fans get ready!

So far only Washington’s Alex Ovechkin has openly said he will skip the game to rest up for the remainder of the season.   For that reason, fans have plenty of incentive to watch and gamble with the rest of the stars coming out.  The Central vs. Pacific Division All Star Teams meet at 8:15 p.m. ET.  Following that will be the Metropolitan vs. Atlantic Division teams at 9:15 p.m. ET.  In the same way all of this talent will keep things even with the NHL All Star Game lines.

Atlantic Division

To begin with the Atlantic Division is led by a couple of Toronto Maple Leafs.  Auston Matthews and John Tavares will make for definite threats to light the lamp.  Boston’s David Pastrnak is another prolific scorer for the Atlantic.  Additional power comes from Toronto’s John Tavares, last summer’s ultimate free agent signee.

Names on the Ice to watch out for

Owing to Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby does the Metropolitan Division have a dangerous arsenal.  And goaltender Henrik Lundqvist makes for a sentimental choice between the pipes.  Columbus defenseman Seth Jones may also stand out from the pack.  Indeed, Jones is part of a deep defensive corps for the Metropolitan Division.  John Carlson of the Washington Capitals and Kris Letang of Pittsburgh rank as two of the best.

Pacific Division

Supplementing the Pacific Division hopes is the great Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers.  Johnny “Hockey” Gaudreau is another threat as a potential Most Valuable Player award winner.  Home town hero Joe Pavelski of the San Jose Sharks is a well-regarded sniper.  While Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings headlines a good defensive lineup.  San Jose’s Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson add impressive depth on the back end.  And Marc Andre Fleury of the Vegas Golden Knights adds dominant goaltending.

Central Division

In particular the Central Division has a couple of dominant sportsbook assets headlining its team.  Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche transformed that franchise into a contender.  Likewise Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks was a marquee man during their Stanley Cup days.  And Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators is world class.
