How it works

The 63rd NHL All Star Game will consist of four teams in a single elimination tournament.  Furthermore, the All Star teams will be consisted of the best players from the NHL’s four divisions.  The divisions are the Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central, and Pacific.  Each game with the NHL All Star Game sports betting odds will consist of two halves of ten minutes each.  The primary uniform colors for the tournament will be black for the Central, blue for the Atlantic, white for the Pacific, and Gray for the Metropolitan.  Not to mention,  in a toss to the past the uniforms will have stars on the sleeves as was the case in the 1980’s.

How are the captains chosen?

The four captains were selected by the NHL after the fan voting was completed to stock the teams.  Steven Stamkos of the host Tampa Bay Lightning is captain of the Atlantic Division. Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals is captain of the Metropolitan Division.  PK Subban of the Nashville Predators will captain the Central Division.  Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers will captain the Pacific Division correspondingly.

Coaching Staff

Likewise, there is a superb sportsbook online lineup of the NHL’s best coaches.  Jon Cooper of the Tampa Bay Lightning will coach the Atlantic Division.  Peter Laviolette of the Nashville Predators will coach the Central Division.  Barry Trotz of the Washington Capitals will coach the Metropolitan.  And also Gerard Gallant of the Vegas Golden Knights will coach the Pacific.

Matchup to Watch.

Uniquely, this event offers the ultimate of matchups within matchups against the NHL All Star Game sports betting odds.  The Atlantic Division will be led by the hometown Lightning Steven Stamkos.  Stamkos is the center and captain.  Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy will backup Montreal’s Carey Price.  Both goaltenders should see action equally.

The Central Division will garner plenty of betting action with Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks on the marquee.  Kane and team captain PK Subban are two of the biggest names and recognizable stars in the game.  Speaking of big names and recognizable stars the Metropolitan Division has as much as any of the teams.

The Met boasts Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals, and Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers.  The Pacific will have Marc Andre Fleury of Vegas in goal.  It all adds up for a phenomenal team setup!
