Thursday Hockey Betting – Struggling Sharks visit Colorado

The San Jose Sharks will try and break out of their funk as they face the Colorado Avalanche in hockey betting on Thursday.

The Sharks couldn’t even win on Tuesday at home against a road-weary Carolina team as they lost 5-2.  The Sharks may not have an easy NHL hockey betting win on Thursday against Colorado who has started the season at 4-2.

Sharks Losing Streak – The Sharks are one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup this season but they sure are not playing like it.  They have lost three straight as they head out on the road for three games beginning in Denver on Thursday against the Avalanche.  Perhaps getting away from home will wake the Sharks up and they will start to play like Stanley Cup contenders.

Colorado’s Second Home Game – This is only the second home game of the season for Colorado. They started the season at home with an overtime win against Chicago and then went on the road for five games. They did well on the trip as they went 3-2.

Familiar Foes – San Jose and Colorado know each other well. The Sharks eliminated the Avalanche last year in the Western Conference Quarterfinals. The teams met four times during the regular season last year, with Colorado going1-2-1 against the Sharks even though they outscored them overall, 14-13.
