Hockey Betting St. Louis at Anaheim

Hockey betting favors the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday as they host the St. Louis Blues. It is the middle game of a three-game road trip for the Blues while Anaheim is playing the 2nd bet on hockey game of a six-game homestand.

Hockey has seen the Ducks win six of the last ten previous games against the Blues.  The Ducks have won four of the last five home games against St. Louis in hockey including the last four.

Four of the last five games between the two teams have gone over the hockey total.  Three of the last four in Anaheim have gone over the bet on hockey total.

Early in the hockey season it is sometimes tough to get a handle on teams. The Blues have been up and down this sports betting season but already have proven they can win on the road in hockey betting. The key for St. Louis is to get enough scoring to win on the road in hockey betting. Keith Tkachuk is off to a nice start this online sports betting season but he is going to need a lot of help. The Blues need some of their younger players to get going if they are to stay in the middle of the Conference race this hockey betting season.  The Blues may also need to decide on a starting goaltender as both Ty Conklin and Chris Mason have been seeing time this year.

The Ducks have a similar problem to what they had last year in hockey and that is scoring goals. They are struggling again to find the net and it has hurt them in hockey betting. The goaltending is still excellent for Anaheim and that normally keeps them in games but they simply need to find some offense.  Unless Ryan Getzlaf scores goals, the Ducks struggle to get enough offense. That was the case last year as well and so far this season not much has changed which means taking the Ducks under the total is something to consider as you bet on hockey.  Jonas Hiller and Jean-Sebastien Giguere have been very solid in goal this hockey betting season.
