The Chicago Blackhawks swept away the San Jose Sharks in Stanley Cup odds in four straight games. The Blackhawks will now play in their first Stanley Cup Final in 18 years and they will be favored in Stanley Cup betting.
Stanley Cup odds didn’t favor Chicago at the beginning of their series against San Jose but it quickly became evident that the Sharks were not going to win that series. The Sharks led 2-0 in the second period but things turned around after the second San Jose goal. Defenseman Duncan Keith was hit in the mouth by a puck and lost seven teeth. Just minutes later defenseman Brent Seabrook scored to cut the lead to 2-1. Late in the second period, Dave Bolland scored his fifth goal of the playoffs to tie the game. Byfuglien scored the game winner in the third and Kris Versteeg got an empty netter for the final margin of victory.
