Bruins and Blues Head to St. Louis Even with NHL Betting Odds Saturday!

2019 Stanley Cup Final Game 3 St. Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins

Following a 4-2 loss in game one, the St. Louis Blues realized they had to tighten up.  Too many unforced errors took place in that Stanley Cup Final opener.  St. Louis was undisciplined and sloppy on the back end.  As a result, Boston was dominant in their NHL Betting online payout.  But game two demonstrated that St. Louis was willing to make the necessary adjustments.  Their 3-2 overtime win has evened the series at 1-1.  Best of all, St. Louis has taken home-ice advantage for this series.  It was the franchise’s first ever Stanley Cup Final victory.

2019 Stanley Cup Final Update

Now this series will feature games three and four in St. Louis.  Game four at Enterprise Center will be on Monday.  Boston will host game five.  While if necessary, the Blues would host game six.  A seventh and deciding game would be at Boston.

Boston Bruised and Outplayed

Fashion that Boston was nowhere near as dominant in the second game.  St. Louis earned the NHL betting online by carrying the play all game.  Game two saw the Blues post 37-23 shots on goal advantage.  Likewise, Jordan Binnington recovered from a shaky start in the St. Louis net.  Binnington stopped 21 out of 23 Boston shots to post the victory.  And defenseman Carl “Boom Boom” Gunnarsson scored the game-winning goal.  He also added an assist and a plus-two as the hero.

Tarasenko Emerges

Also staring in the Blues offshore betting win was right wing Vladimir Tarasenko.  Earlier in the playoffs head coach Craig Berube called out Tarasenko.  Berube said that St. Louis needed more production from the sniper.  In fact, he has shut out in the Blues first two playoff games.  Tarasenko has responded with 10 playoff goals.  He lit the lamp in each of the first two games of this series.  Tarasenko is gaining strength and effectiveness as the series progresses.

Tuukka Feels Pressure

Namely Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask has been their best player in postseason.  Rask actually had a higher save percentage than Binnington in game two.  But that does not take away from the fact that he will be judged against Tim Thomas.  Rask was back up to Thomas when Boston won the 2011 Stanley Cup.  Anything less than a Stanley Cup will be considered a failure for the netminder.

Blues and Bruins Head to Head at St. Louis

Encompassing home-ice advantage is the Blues success over Boston at Enterprise Center.  St. Louis has won four of their last six home games against the Bruins.  The last two of those games stayed under the total.

Matchup to Watch

On this occasion, Enterprise Center will be an insane asylum.  Look for the Blues to be rocket fueled by their home crowd.  Home ice should be the NHL Betting online matchup advantage here.
