2019 Stanley Cup Final Update

Now Boston leads this best of seven series 2-1.  Game three was a 7-2 blowout and domination for the Bruins.  Should Boston post the NHL Betting online win in game four they will need only one more win for the Stanley Cup.  Account of game five being in Boston adds to the importance of this matchup.  St. Louis does not want to face elimination Thursday night.  If necessary, game six would return to St. Louis.  Concurrently a seventh game would be at Boston.

Betting Analysis

A clear difference exists between Boston and most other Offshore betting choices.  To begin with the Bruins are one of the most popular teams on the board.  A national marquee brand with a generational fan base.  Likewise, the game three steamroller will only add to their gambling appeal.  Gamblers are going to be leery of a Blues team that was curb stomped at home.  Contrarily bargain hunters may see it as a one off.  St. Louis may end up with a better price than warranted.

Tuukka vs. the Rookie

Extending the Blues remarkable playoff run is rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington.  Until game three he was outplaying Boston’s Tuukka Rask.  However, game three was a catastrophe.  Binnington was chased from the game after allowing five goals on 19 shots.  By contrast Rask turned aside 27 out of 29 St. Louis shots.  In view of game three the question is if Binnington can recover.  Much like the rest of the Blues team he may have been too keyed up for game three at home.  Rask remains a top tier candidate for the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.

Resilient Blues

Not withstanding game three the Blues have shown great ability to bounce back. To illuminate they are 4-2 in post season following a loss.  Most important of all they were the last place team in the NHL on January 3.  Owing to that is that it would be foolish to write them off just yet.

Matchup to Watch

On the Blues were sloppy and perhaps too revved up for game three.  As mentioned earlier they have been a strong NHL Betting online value after a loss.  Subsequently Binnington and St. Louis can’t be any worse than game three.
