Bet on Hockey – Ottawa at Anaheim

Bet on hockey for Sunday includes a matchup in Anaheim between the Ducks and Ottawa Senators. It is the finale of a five-game road trip for the Senators and a tough hockey betting spot as they had to play last night in Phoenix.  Here are some trends and stats to consider as you bet on hockey with Ottawa and Anaheim.

Bet on NHL trends don’t favor Ottawa in this game either. The Senators have lost eight of their last ten against the Ducks.  Anaheim has beaten Ottawa in five of the last six bet on NHL games at home.  The teams played earlier this season in Ottawa and the Ducks came away with the 4-3 victory.  Two of the last three hockey betting meetings between the two teams have gone over the total.

Ottawa has been a good team to bet on hockey with at home but they have been inconsistent on the road.  It is hard to know just how good the Senators are in hockey betting.  They have played far more games at home on the road and even this road trip didn’t get equal it out.  The Senators are just outside the Top 10 in goals scored and in fewest goals allowed. Daniel Alfredsson is leading them in scoring which is no surprise to those that bet on hockey. Pascal Leclaire and Brian Elliott have shared the goaltending duties this bet on NHL year.

Anaheim has floundered in last place in the Pacific division but they are still in the hunt as they are right around the .500 mark. The rest of the division has just been very good for those that bet on hockey.  The stats don’t look that great for Anaheim overall in hockey betting. Their leading scorer is Corey Perry and overall they are mid-pack in scoring. Their defense is not very good and neither Jonas Hiller nor Jean-Sebastien Giguere has been great this season.

The bet on hockey situation and the trends do favor Anaheim so they may get a look from those that bet on hockey in this game. Wagering on the total might be a little bit more unpredictable since both teams have been up and down in terms of goals scored and goals against this bet on hockey season but the Ducks have been a slight under team at home and Ottawa did play last night so a low scoring game might occur.
