Week 2 NFL Odds at SBG Global

December 1, 2010 NFL Football

Week 2 NFL odds have a full slate of 16 games with 15 on Sunday, September 14th and one on Monday, September 15th.

There are a total of eight 4:00 pm Eastern games in NFL week 2 odds led by the Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings on CBS television.

Week 2 NFL odds on the early games also have CBS games featuring Tennessee at Cincinnati , Buffalo at Jacksonville and Oakland at Kansas City . Each of those home teams should be favored in NFL week 2 odds. The early Sunday week 2 NFL odds action on FOX television has Chicago at Carolina , Green Bay at Detroit , the Giants at St. Louis and New Orleans at Washington . Unlike the previous three games, these games will have quite a few road favorites in NFL week 2 odds.

There are six late afternoon games and four of the six are CBS games. Of those four it is likely that the focus will be in Denver as the Broncos host the Chargers. This should be an excellent game in the AFC West and have exciting week 2 NFL odds. The other games have New England at the Jets, Miami at Arizona and Baltimore at Houston .

The Patriots and Cardinals will be favored in NFL week 2 odds while the Ravens-Texans game should have low week 2 NFL odds. FOX television has two games for late Sunday afternoon but neither is expected to attract a lot of attention in week 2 NFL odds. They are Atlanta at Tampa Bay and San Francisco at Seattle . Both home teams will be heavy favorites in week 2 NFL odds.

The Sunday night game in week 2 NFL odds on NBC television has the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Cleveland Browns. This is a big early game in the AFC North. It is hard to say that the second game of the season is a must game but if Cleveland loses their opener at home against Dallas they would need a win here against Pittsburgh to avoid an 0-2 start. The week 2 NFL odds on this game should be close to a pick.

Monday Night Football week 2 NFL odds should be excellent as the Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles. This is always an excellent game between these NFC East rivals. ESPN will be televising the Monday night game. The Cowboys should be about a touchdown favorite in week 2 NFL odds in this matchup.
