Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis NFL Bet

December 1, 2010 NFL Football

NFL bet on Sunday features the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts hosting at Tennessee Titans team that has won five straight.

It is an interesting matchup to consider as you bet on football. NFL bet odds favor the Colts by a touchdown in this game with a total of 47.  The Titans lost their first six games this bet on football season but since that time they have won five straight to get back into the playoff discussion.

Last week’s win against Arizona was a heart stopper as quarterback Vince Young drove the team 99 yards to win it. Young hit Kenny Britt for a 10-yard TD pass on the last play of the game as the Titans won 20-17.  It was the fifth straight win for the Titans and the ninth win in a row for Young as starting quarterback.  Bet on football stats show that he threw for a career-high 387 yards.  The Titans got a huge game out of Young and from running back Chris Johnson.  He ran for at least 125 yards in his sixth straight NFL bet game. That matches an NFL record held by Earl Campbell and Eric Dickerson.  NFL bet statistics show that he finished with 18 carries for 154 yards.

Indianapolis remained perfect this NFL bet season but it was not easy last week as they had to come from 17 points behind to defeat the Houston Texans 35-27.  It was the 20th straight regular season win for the Colts.  If they win this bet on football game against the Titans they would tie the New England Patriots record of 21-straight regular season wins in a row.  The win last week by the Colts clinched the AFC South title for them. "That’s our goal coming into training camp," safety Antoine Bethea said. "We wanted to win our division."  Peyton Manning was 27 of 35 for 244 yards as NFL bet stats indicated.

Indianapolis is 7-3 in the last ten games against Tennessee but they are just 5-5 against the NFL bet odds.  Earlier this NFL bet season the Colts went into Tennessee and routed the Titans 31-9.  Last season the teams split their two NFL bet meetings with each team winning at home. The Colts have won four of the last five at home against Tennessee and they are 3-2 against the bet on football pointspread in those NFL bet contests.

Eight of the last nine games between the two teams have gone under the NFL bet total.
