Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington NFL Bet

NFL bet numbers favor the Washington Redskins on Sunday as they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It is a bet on football matchup of two struggling teams as the Bucs are winless while the Redskins are 1-2.

NFL bet odds have Washington as a 7 point favorite in this game which might sound like a lot considering the Redskins are struggling to score. The issue for those that bet on football is that taking the Bucs is even tougher to do after they are coming off a 24-0 NFL bet loss to New York. The Bucs were so bad that they benched starting quarterback Byron Leftwich and replaced him with Josh Johnson. It will be Johnson getting the start in this NFL bet game. Last week the Bucs were so pathetic on offense that it went down as one of the worst performances in team history and that is saying something in bet on football, considering the Bucs went winless for a season many years ago.

Tampa Bay will turn the reigns over to Josh Johnson until rookie quarterback Josh Freeman is ready. "I was surprised because I felt like Byron had done a good job and that it was just one of those days where nothing went right," Johnson said. "But had I been the quarterback, I know I would have taken the fall. … That’s the reality of being a quarterback in this league."

The Bucs are likely to struggle no matter who is at quarterback but they should not be as bad as they were in last week’s NFL bet loss. "I hate to make this about Byron," head coach Raheem Morris said, "I don’t want us as an organization to say that game was all Leftwich … but Byron is suffering the consequences."

The problem for Tampa in their NFL bet defeats has been getting behind early and abandoning the run. The team had just 19 rushing attempts for 57 yards against Buffalo in NFL bet and only 28 yards on 10 carries against the Giants.

NFL bet stats have the Bucs as 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. the NFC. Tampa has struggled as an NFL bet underdog going 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.

Washington doesn’t have many positive NFL bet trends either. The Redskins are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 NFL bet games in October, 1-6 in bet on football numbers in their last 7 home games, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a home bet on football favorite.
