Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Miami NFL Bet

December 1st, 2010 NFL Football

NFL bet lines have the Miami Dolphins about a 10-point favorite at home on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The line may have been higher but Tampa is coming off their first win of the season last week and has renewed optimism with rookie quarterback Josh Freeman. The Dolphins are coming off a tough loss at New England so they could come into this bet on football matchup a little flat.

NFL bet results had Tampa getting their first win of the season last week against Green Bay. Freeman threw three touchdown passes in his first NFL bet start, including two in the fourth quarter as the Bucs beat the Packers 38-28.  Freeman completed 14 of 31 passes for 205 yards, three touchdowns and one interception as NFL bet stats showed.  He is the youngest player ever to start at quarterback for the Bucs as NFL bet info indicated but he didn’t look nervous.

“His age really doesn’t matter at this point,” said Head Coach Raheem Morris. “He’s got to be a seven-year vet and lead us where we need to go. It was what we thought he was. That’s why we brought him in here to lead this franchise. I’m sure everyone could feel his poise. You know when he goes out there that you’ve got the ability to win.” It was a huge NFL bet win for the Bucs and may turn their season around.  “You’ve seen some people step up,” said Morris. “You’ve seen some great plays from Maurice Stovall and Kellen Winslow. Michael Clayton made a big play downfield. We had some things that we missed, but overall you could tell that this team wants to win. They play hard every week.”

Tampa Bay has done very well in this NFL bet series against Miami. The Bucs are 4-3 straight up and 5-1 against the bet on football pointspread.  The teams haven’t played that often and have met just twice this NFL bet decade. The Bucs won 27-13 at home in 2005 while the won on the road 16-13 in 2000 in NFL bet results.

Normally when a team ranks near the bottom of the league on both offense and defense and is just 2-6 against the NFL bet lines you would not want to consider them as you bet on football.  That may not be the case anymore with Tampa Bay though in NFL bet wagers. With an exciting young quarterback they could be a team to watch as you bet on football the remainder of the season.
