As you make your wager on this year’s game you have to seriously consider taking the under in 2011 Super Bowl betting. And if the total on this year’s game is 50 or more than you really have to think about taking the under as five of eight Super Bowls with a total that high have gone under.
Neutral Site and Layoff
What many gamblers forget about the Super Bowl is that it is at a neutral site and has a two week break in between games. Teams have to get adjusted to a neutral site and it can oftentimes take offenses a while to get going after having a two-week break after playing in the conference championships. NFL teams are simply not accustomed to having two weeks off except during their bye week. Late in the season with all of the hoopla surrounding the Super Bowl it can take a few series to get back into the swing of things and that is all it takes for a game to go under.
