For three quarters they were actually in the game against Indianapolis before it all fell apart. “The first three quarters I thought we battled really hard against a good football team,” head coach Steve Spagnuolo said to NFL fans.

That fourth quarter was different, it was disappointing.” Steven Jackson had 134 yards rushing and until a Marc Bulger interception in the fourth quarter, the Rams had an NFL bet chance. “We’re competing,” Jackson said. “Until we get a win, we’re nowhere close to it. We have to play four quarters of football not two or three.”
Those making an NFL may take the Rams plus the points at Detroit. The Lions were playing well with Matthew Stafford at quarterback but since he has been hurt they look like last year’s team that lost every NFL bet game. The Rams have won 6 of the last 10 games between the two teams. This decade they have won two of the three NFL bet meetings. The most recent was in 2006 when St. Louis won by a score of 41-34 at home. The last time the teams met in action in Detroit was in 2003 as the Lions won 30-20.
