Last week Philadelphia lost at Tennessee 26-23 in overtime. As a consequence, they have failed to pay in three games in a row. In comparison to last year the Eagles offense has struggled to finish. To illustrate Philly ranks 27th in the NFL for scoring offense. Defensively the Eagles are a solid ninth for points allowed. On the whole quarterback Carson Wentz has shown well. Last week he threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns.
Team vs Team
Philadelphia has dominated this head to head series with Minnesota. Correlate the Eagles mark of 12-3 vs. the spread against the Vikings. Five of the last eight between these teams have gone under the total. Furthermore, at home Philly has paid in eight of their last nine against Minnesota. And four of the last five in this series at Lincoln Financial Field have gone under the total. Philadelphia plastered the Vikings 38-7 in the NFC title game last January.
