Seattle Seahwaks at Green Bay NFL Bet

NFL bet odds heavily favor the Green Bay Packers as they host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The Seahawks have been a terrible disappointment this season for those that bet on football while the Packers have been pretty good.  Here is a look at this game between the Seahawks and Packers.

NFL betting numbers have seen Seattle struggle to a 5-9 season straight up and 5-9 against the bet on football line.  The Seahawks have been abysmal away from home this NFL bet season going 1-6 against the spread.  Last week the Seahawks reached a new low as they lost 24-7 at home to Tampa Bay.  Matt Hasselbeck turned it over five times last week and there is simply no reason to think he is going to have success in this NFL betting  matchup against Green Bay.  Seattle has been held to 10 points or less four times this NFL bet year.

Green Bay did everything except win last week against Pittsburgh as they gave up a 19-yard TD pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace as time expired to lose 37-36.  The loss ended the Packers’ five-game winning streak. The Green Bay defense which had been great all season collapsed against Pittsburgh in that NFL betting game, allowing over 500 yards to Roethlisberger.  The Green Bay offense was very good again as Aaron Rodgers threw for 383 yards and three TDs as NFL bet stats showed.

The Packers have won six of the last ten games against Seattle.  The Packers are 5-3-2 against the NFL bet pointspread in those games.  The teams met last season and the Packers won 27-17 in Seattle for those that bet on football. Two years ago they played in Green Bay in the playoffs and the Packers won 42-20 vs. the NFL bet lines. The Packers have won the last three home games against Seattle.

Rarely in NFL betting matchups do you get a game where they public is so one-sided but that is the case in this game.  The public wants nothing to do with a Seattle team that has simply been awful in recent weeks.  Green Bay will get much of the attention from those that bet on football.  Even though the Packers gave up a lot of points last NFL bet week to Pittsburgh, they are not likely to have much trouble against a very poor Seattle offense.
