San Francisco 49ers vs. San Diego Chargers NFL Gambling

NFL gambling on the 2009 preseason concludes as the San Diego Chargers host the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams have played well in the preseason and look ready for the NFL betting season.  NFL gambling has the 49ers looking to go unbeaten in the preseason for the first time since 1992. That was a very good year for the 49ers in NFL betting as they went 14-2 but lost in the NFC Championship.

This year’s team won’t be that good but they do have potential in NFL gambling. Shaun Hill is the starting quarterback as NFL notes, and while he is not great, he doesn’t make many mistakes. That is the way to win for San Francisco in NFL gambling since they have running back Frank Gore and a solid defense.

Gore is also going to get help this NFL season from rookie Glen Coffee who has been very impressive. The starters for the 49ers won’t play long so look for Alex Smith and Nate Davis to get the snaps at quarterback in this preseason NFL gambling contest. NFL gambling tells us that the 49ers cut Damon Huard earlier this week so Smith and Davis are the backups. “I am thankful that we were lucky enough to have Damon here with us this offseason,” said head coach Mike Singletary. “He was a professional in every sense.

What he did with our quarterbacks was outstanding. He helped them to have a better idea about what it takes to be a pro. Not only did he provide them great tips throughout, but he helped build their confidence. It’s one thing to hear what you need to do to get better from someone who never played the game, but when you hear it from a guy like Damon you take his words to heart. I really appreciate his professionalism and his personality.” NFL gambling indicates that the 49ers are still missing draft pick Michael Crabtree who is the only player in the first round to remain unsigned.

The Chargers are not going to play starters long either in this NFL matchup. That means Philip Rivers and LaDainian Tomlinson probably won’t much, if at all in this NFL gambling contest. NFL betting shows that the Chargers are looking at a backup running back battle for the third string spot between Michael Bennett, Gartrell Johnson, and Mike Tolbert.

San Diego leads the NFL gambling series in the preseason against the 49ers 19-18 including a 20-17 win last year in NFL betting.
