He was the leading rusher of the game with 11 carries for 122 yards and a TD, while WR Harvin had an amazing three TD catches nullified, which was included in the 13 penalties for 90 yards that the Seahawks amassed in the game.

The leading passer in the game was Redskins QB Cousins who completed 21 of 36 passes for 283 yards and 2 touchdowns without being sacked. Receiving leader was Redskins WR Jackson with 5 receptions for 157 yards and 1 TD.

Seahawks QB Wilson, the leading rusher in the game had runs of 16 yards, 29 yards, 13 yards and 22 yards in the first drive alone. In the second quarter, he rushed for 9 yards and a TD, then in the second half had to crazy run around scrambles that kept the Seahawks in the lead.

The statistics of the game are interesting as the Seahawks had 20 first downs, and accumulated 403 total offensive yards on 63 plays with 178 passing and 225 rushing yards with no turnovers. The Redskins had 14 first downs for 307 total offensive yards on 54 plays with 275 passing and 32 rushing and no turnovers.

One Seahawks player who did not struggle in this game was QB Wilson, whose rushing yardage of 122 yards was almost 50% or the total yards rushing by the Seahawks in the game. He also completed 18 of 24 passes for 201 yards and a TD, thus he was involved in three of the touchdowns for Seattle in the game, not including the 3 touchdowns of WR Harvin that were nullified. The Seattle team now has the best record of wins for Monday night football games 21-8 and with Carroll as Coach they are 11-1 on MNF.

In this game, Washington had two deep passes to WR Jackson, who was accountable for some 137 offensive yards, of the Redskins total of 307 yards. The Skins had to punt eight times during the game, while QB Cousins completed 21 of his 36 passes for 283 yards and the two touchdowns. The only other score in the game was a 27 yard FG by kicker Forpath early in the 3rd quarter. The Redskins were able to come with a TD of the Seahawks after Redskins QB Cousins completed a 6 yard TD pass to Roberts and with only 3:30 left in the game.

Then after the kickoff, Seattle QB scrambled and hit receiver Lynch for a 30 yard game, and the series ended with a 43 yard field goal by kicker Hauschka that brought the final score of the game at 27-17.

Interesting game facts, was that Seattle running back Lynch entered the game on the 2nd series, but still gained 72 yards on 17 carries. Redskins WR Jackson had 5 receptions for 157 yards and a TD, while Skins QB Griffin III missed his third straight game as a result of an ankle injury.
