Rams Quarterback Marc Bulger Injured NFL Betting Lines

NFL betting lines have seen the St. Louis Rams struggle this season and things are not likely to get any better as the team will now be without starting quarterback Marc Bulger. The Rams starting signal caller was injured in the loss to Arizona on Sunday and he will be out at least the next 3-6 weeks. The Rams are home underdogs in football odds this week as they host Seattle.

NFL betting lines on St. Louis have seen the Rams go 5-5 against the number even though the team is 1-9 straight up.  Losing Bulger may not help their cause in NFL betting lines though.  Bulger underwent two MRI exams Monday and one of them revealed some issues.  Bulger has been dealing with injuries off an on for years. “Marc Bulger’s pretty banged up,” head coach Steve Spagnuolo said, “Marc’s got a few things going on.”  Bulger has completed only 56.7 percent of his passes for five touchdowns and six interceptions this season.  Now it will be backup Kyle Boller getting the start this week in the NFL betting lines matchup against Seattle.

NFL betting lines indicate that the Rams could also be without linebacker Chris Chamberlain and offensive tackle Jason Smith who have injuries. Fullback Mike Karney and offensive tackle Alex Barron are also dealing with injuries. The Rams are hoping that guard Richie Incognito can return this NFL betting lines week from his foot injury.

The Rams are not an automatic go against in NFL betting lines because they are always getting points.  Last week they covered the big football odds in their loss to Arizona.  In fact, St. Louis is 5-5 against the football odds this season.  This week against Seattle though they are not getting many points so caution would be advised about backing the Rams in NFL betting lines.  Taking Seattle is no bargain either though as they are a pathetic 3-7 against the NFL betting lines.

This game against Seattle is one of the few realistic chances for St. Louis to get another win. Their schedule remaining in NFL betting lines has them facing Chicago, Tennessee, Houston, Arizona and San Francisco.  Finding a win among those games may be difficult in football odds.  Not having Bulger may not help either as Boller has proven to be very erratic in his career so that is something to keep in mind as you look at NFL betting lines for the Rams.
