Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Pro Football Betting

Pro football betting has the Pittsburgh Steelers as 4-point road favorites at Cincinnati on Sunday. Both teams come into this NFL betting matchup at 1-1 as the Steelers lost at Chicago last week while Cincinnati won at Green Bay.Pro football favors the Steelers in this game for good reason. The Steelers have won their last eight games at Cincinnati. The Steelers have won those eight games in NFL betting by an average of 14 points per game.Overall, the Bengals have lost five in a row against Pittsburgh and only scored 10 points in each of the last three pro football games.

Pittsburgh will want to bounce back from last week’s pro football loss as they open up play in the AFC North.  “We go in there knowing it’s a division rival and it’s the first step in the road,” Steelers offensive tackle Max Starks said, “The biggest thing for us is knowing it’s a division opponent and just being ready to play and knowing it’s going to be a nasty tough game. It’s a war of wills when you walk into that stadium. As soon as one team breaks the other one usually the game is over.”

Pittsburgh could have a tough time in this pro football betting matchup. The Bengals running back Cedric Benson has been very good this season and that has opened things up for quarterback Carson Palmer.  Just how important is Benson to the Bengals success in pro football betting?  Cincinnati is 4-0 when Benson gets at least 100 yards.

Cincinnati should actually be 2-0 in NFL betting but they lost on that miracle play in Denver. “The Bengals should be 2-0 right now,” Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley. “When you go back and watch highlights of the Denver game, they had the game won.”

The Steelers have held the Bengals to 17 points or less during their five-game NFL betting winning streak.  Pittsburgh is 15-3 in Cincinnati since 1991 as pro football betting stats show.  Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been excellent in the state of Ohio as he is 6-0 in Cincinnati and 5-0 in Cleveland.

Pittsburgh has been great in pro football in their division of late as they are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. the AFC North.  The Steelers are not good road favorites in pro football betting though as they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road pro football favorite.  The Bengals are no better though as they are 1-5 in pro football betting in their last 6 vs. the AFC North.
