Offensive Linemen 2020 NFL Draft Betting Odds Analysis

While most fans and many gamblers ignore offensive linemen NFL scouts don’t. Coaches realize that line of scrimmage control is paramount for success. Correlate with that a tremendous lineup of O-Line prospects. Sharp gamblers have taken notice. Encompassing that is a change of the sportsbook odds.

OT Jedrick Wills – Alabama

First among equals is Alabama’s, Jedrick Wills. Coaches and scouts love the edge that he plays with. Wills could be the best-run blocker in the draft. Also, he brings surprising athleticism for his size.

OT Tristan Wirfs – Iowa

Some draft boards have Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs ranked higher than Wills. In like manner, he matches or exceeds the athleticism of Wills. His wrestling background has hele made him dominant against defensive linemen. And he can play on the left or right side.

OT Andrew Thomas – Georgia

Andrew Thomas epitomizes the increased quality of prospects coming out of Georgia. It follows that being a four-year SEC starter enhances NFL draft betting lines credibility. Like Wirfs, he can play the left or right side. Consistent with that in athletic ability that makes him a natural left tackle.

OT Mekhi Becton – Louisville

Supplementing Mekhi Becton’s appeal is his quickness. His massive size makes him look deceptively slow. As a matter of fact, Becton is one of the leanest offensive line prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft. Of great concern is that Becton did not consistently face elite pass rushers at Louisville.

OT Josh Jones – Houston

Another offensive lineman bringing tremendous athletic skill is Josh Jones. Few players offer better run blocking. It follows that he has shown great pass protection ability. Even top Edge rushers struggle to beat Jones.

OT Ezra Cleveland – Boise State

Perhaps one of the top sleepers at any position is Boise State’s Ezra Cleveland. He brings a level of athleticism that ranks as a good as any O-Line prospect. Cleveland is notorious for, good balance on his pass blocking. Still he needs improved strength for NFL run blocking.

C Lloyd Cushenberry III – LSU

Breaking through the list of tackle prospects is Lloyd Cushenberry III. Immediately setting him apart is the fact he played in a pass-oriented offense at LSU. He is utterly dominant in one on one matchups.

T Austin Jackson – USC

In comparison to most Pac 12 Conference teams does Austin Jackson shine. In particular his quick feet elevate his appeal as a prospect. In spite of that he remains a raw talent. However, the team that takes Jackson will have to treat him as a “project.”

The Pick: Offensive Linemen under a total of 5.5 taken in round one
