Oakland Raiders at San Diego Bet on Football

Bet on football this week is going to be popular on the San Diego Chargers as they host the Oakland Raiders. There are not going to be many people that want to bet on football and take the Raiders even though they are getting almost 17 points on the road in NFL betting.

Bet on football numbers saw the Oakland Raiders get humiliated at home last week 38-0 by the New York Jets. Not many people give the Raiders any chance of keeping this game in San Diego close. The Chargers are 16.5 point NFL betting favorites with a total of 41.5. Taking the Chargers when you bet on football is not always a wise choice. They are poorly coached and have problems of their own but they are not nearly as bad as the hopeless Raiders. The key for San Diego is to not have a letdown after last week’s rout of Kansas City. “My emphasis to our team was to look ahead, not look back,” head coach Norv Turner said. “I asked them to continue to improve and not be affected by anything that might be said. They focused in on Kansas City like I asked them to. They did a great job of preparing and playing.”

The Chargers should have little trouble in this bet on football matchup against the Raiders. Last week the Chargers put up 403 yards of offense and held Kansas City to just 203 yards. “We got one week better,” quarterback Philip Rivers said, “Winning 37-7 didn’t all of the sudden make us a team that’s unbeatable by any means. We’ve got to go get another week better against Oakland and get another win.”

Not many of the bet on football numbers on the Raiders are positive. They are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. The Raiders are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings in San Diego. They will have to beat a San Diego team that is 13-6 in NFL betting in their last 19 home games.

With the high bet on football pointspread, there may be some that look at the total in this game. The last five Oakland games in the month of November have gone under the NFL betting total. The last four San Diego games this month have also gone under. Three of the last four meetings between the two teams in San Diego have gone under.
