Now the NFL Playoffs Get Interesting NFL Betting Lines

NFL betting lines are a lot different this weekend than they were last week in the Wild Card round. The football odds last week had all four games with lines of four points or less.  The NFL betting lines for the four games this weekend have three favorites of about a touchdown.

NFL betting lines have San Diego as the biggest favorite this weekend as they are laying nine against the New York Jets.  The Saints are laying a touchdown to Arizona while Indianapolis is about a touchdown favorite against Baltimore in football odds.  The one game that is close in football odds has Minnesota a 2.5 point favorite against Dallas.

The top four teams in NFL betting lines for most of the season were the Colts, Saints, Chargers and Vikings so it is not a surprise to see each of those teams favored.  It should be noted though that Indianapolis has not played their starters for almost a month while the Saints haven’t played well at all in their last few games.  The teams that are playing the best entering this week of NFL betting lines are the Chargers and Cowboys.

NFL betting lines action begins on Saturday with Arizona at New Orleans.  The Saints have an offense that should be able to keep up with Arizona but again, it should be noted that the Saints have not played well the past month.  The Saints offense, which led the league in scoring, has not looked as potent recently in NFL betting lines. New Orleans will be facing an Arizona offense that put up 51 points against a Green Bay defense that was one of the best in the NFL during the regular season.

The night game in NFL betting lines on Saturday has Baltimore at Indianapolis. The Colts were rolling along this NFL betting lines season until they decided to rest their starters and now there is some question as to whether or not they can regain their form. Baltimore’s defense is tough and the Ravens made the AFC title game a year ago.

Sunday’s NFL betting lines begin with Dallas at Minnesota in what could be the best game of the weekend.  Dallas is red-hot but they face a Minnesota team that has not lost at home this season. The late game on Sunday in NFL betting odds has New York and their top-ranked defense in San Diego to face Philip Rivers and the Chargers.  New York will look to run the ball, play defense and avoid mistakes. It worked last week against Cincinnati but this is a tougher test in football odds against San Diego.
