NFL Betting Online – Kyle Orton Leads the Underrated Broncos

September 22nd, 2022 NFL Football Betting Online Odds

You may not have noticed when you have wagered on NFL betting online action but Kyle Orton and the Denver Broncos have looked pretty good.

The hype surrounding the Broncos has surrounded rookie quarterback Tim Tebow but he is not going to be the starter.  Kyle Orton will be the quarterback for Denver this season and if he plays well the Broncos could have some success vs. the NFL betting odds.

NFL betting online numbers at SBG global lists the Broncos as huge long shots to win the Super Bowl at 80-1.  People have forgotten that Denver started last season at 6-0.  They are more focused on Denver’s 2-8 finish.  Not many people are giving the Broncos a second look and that is about the same way they feel about Orton.

He isn’t exciting and doesn’t draw the fans.  He sure does look good though in practice and the Broncos believe they can have a good year with Orton at the helm.

Tebow is not the Starter:  Some people may not even realize that Tebow is not the starting quarterback for Denver.  That is not likely to change anytime soon. Tebow is a project and he may be a couple years away from starting.  This is Orton’s team right now.

Orton Wins:  You may be shocked to learn that Orton has a career record of 19-14 as a starting quarterback in the NFL.  He doesn’t have a great arm but he is accurate.  He threw for 3,802 yards and 21 touchdowns last season.

Those are excellent numbers but you don’t hear much about Orton.  You don’t hear much about the Broncos in the AFC either.  They are pretty much forgotten in NFL betting.

Favorable Schedule:  The Broncos really have a pretty good schedule. They have a winnable opener at Jacksonville and then they host Seattle and Indianapolis. Winning against the Colts won’t be easy but at least it is at home.

They have a tough four-game stretch after that with games at Tennessee and Baltimore before home games vs. the Jets and Raiders. The latter part of the schedule should help Denver as they face Kansas City twice, St. Louis, Arizona, Oakland and Houston.

The Broncos may be ignored by many people but that only means they have more value when you bet them.
