NFL Wagering Online – Kansas City at Houston

The Kansas City Chiefs unbeaten streak in NFL wagering online odds ended last week as the lost to the Indianapolis Colts. It could be another loss this week for Kansas City as they travel to Houston. The Texans were really bad last week in a loss to the New York Giants but they should get some action from gamblers making an NFL bet on Sunday.

Texans -4.5, 44 at the Sbg sportsbook – The Texans are laying 4.5 points at home against the Chiefs.  Houston will have to play a lot better than they did last week if they expect to beat Kansas City. The Chiefs played tough defense last week but they couldn’t get any offense going and lost by 10 to the Colts.

Real Texans – Which Houston team is the real one?  Is it the one that started the season so strongly with wins over Indianapolis and Washington or the one that has lost two of their last three?  Quarterback Matt Schaub was held in check last week against the Giants as he had just 196 yards and no touchdowns. Running back Arian Foster who was leading the league in rushing was totally stopped as he had just 25 yards. The Texans are at home and they should have more success against Kansas City than they had against the Giants.

Kansas City Offense vs. Houston Defense – This is an interesting matchup because the Kansas City offense is rotten and Houston’s defense is terrible.  The Giants scored 41 points last week against Houston. The Chiefs have done nothing on offense but that could change against Houston’s defense. The main weakness of Houston’s defense is against the pass but the Chiefs can’t throw.

Betting Trends – The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog. They are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Texans are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games in October. The Texans are 1-3-2 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite. If you want to play the total in NFL wagering online then keep in mind that the Over is 14-6-2 in the Chiefs last 22 games in October and the Under is 7-3 in the Texans last 10 games as a favorite.
