With the 2015-16 NFL Season ready to start this Sunday the 13 of September 2015, so we bring you what should be an exciting game between the Giants of New York playing at the Cowboys of Dallas on Sunday night, with the game being played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with kick-off scheduled for 8:30 PM ET and seen on NBC TV.
The early odds for those that Bet on NFL football have the Cowboys of Dallas favored in this game at -6 with the Over/under at 21 ½ and the ML at -250, while the Giants are the underdogs at +6 and ML at +210. Do you think the Cowboys will continue to dominate this division opponent in the Giants of New York?
If you’re a fan of the Giants of New York your team in their last outing against the Cowboys on Sunday Night FB, you’re O. Beckham made what they called the best catch of 2014, and he scored 2 TDs, and had 10 receptions for a total of 146 yards, and then the Giants still lost the game 31-28.
That game was a mini preview of the Giants 2014 season as they finished the season with just 6 wins and 10 losses. The offense did its job in that game, but the Giants defense could not keep up. Thus, we wonder how this season will pan out for New York.
This season the Giants offense may become better with Beckham and the return of V. Cruz returning from injury and adding S. Vereen. In 2014 their passing game was 12th ranked in the NFL.
The defense is a ball of another color, as in 2014 they ended the season ranked 24th in the league. They hope their rookie SS L. Collins, but that position is still in question due to several preseason game injuries. Thus, their defense against the run that Dallas has taken advantage of seems like always, is not expected to get any better for this game.
For you Cowboy of Dallas fans your team offense was ranked 4th in the league in 2014, has not had any difficulties with the Giants defense, at least in the last two meetings in 2014.
Their QB Romo has been in those games tremendously efficient as in both of the last 2 meetings of these teams he passed for 7 TD’s and had a 135+ QB rating in the 2 games in 2014. WR D. Bryant had 2 TD’s and 238 yards in those games and the Cowboys accumulated rushing yards of 280 in total.
The Cowboy’s OL is again very strong, plus they picked up free agent L. Collins adding him to their offensive line roster. The Cowboys with their OL should be able to move the ball in their running game.
On defense the team ranked 22nd in the league and performed better than they had projected in 2014. They should not have a major problem with the weak defensive front 7 of the Giants. Their only drawback on defense is that due to suspension, they will be without ML R. McCain and DL G. Hardy suspended for the season 1st 4 games. Their starting CB O. Scandrick is out with an ACL injury, while star LB S. Lee will return from an ACL injury in 2014. In the Cowboys last 6 games with the Giants, Calls is 4 and 2 against the spread.
The prediction is that the Cowboys at home will beat the Giants in what is expected to be a high scoring game at the AT&T Stadium on Sunday evening!
