Are you ready for some Monday Night Football on ESPN, well here we are with the 2015-16 Regular Season underway as we have 2 MNF game and the 1st we will preview, which is the Eagles of Philadelphia playing the Falcons of Atlanta on Monday the 14th of September 2015, with the game being played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia with the kick-off at 7:10 PM ET. The opening odds have the Eagles favored at -2 ½ with the Over/under at 55 ½ and -150 on the ML, while the underdog Falcons are at +2 ½ and +130 on the ML.

Now fans can get back into the MNF habit, as Monday Night Football returns for the 2015-16 NFL seasons. Thus this game is the 1st MNF of the season for the NHL. This should be a great game as both teams are seeking a route to the playoffs.

For the fans that Bet on NFL at an Online sportsbook like SBG Global, and you are a fan of the Eagles of Philadelphia, you team made the news with some big changes, as L. McCoy and N. Foles departed , then new arrivals in RB D. Murray and QB S. Bradford. The latter are new offensive weapons of the Eagles when they begin this new season on the road playing the Falcons. In the ultimate 5 games on the road, the Eagles have 3 wins and 2 losses against the spread.

When we take a look at the stats, the Falcon appear to be an easy game for the Eagles, as the Eagles offense in the NFL was 5th with 397 total yards each game and averaging 29.5 points in 2014. Since the Falcon gave up more yards than other NFL teams, allowing opponents 399 yards per game on average, and the opponents averaged scoring some 26.2 points on the Falcons.

With RB Murray in the backfield, he should take some pressure off QB Bradford giving him more time to pass, as the Falcons can’t overlook the fact that RB Murray led the NFL in 2014 with 1,850 yards rushing and scored some 13 TD’s.

For the fans of the Falcons of Atlanta, last season you team struggled on defense with opposing offensive units. But there offense could do the same with opposing defenses as Atlanta was ranked 8th in overall offense in the NFL for 2014. This season they just need to get more from their aging WR’s in J. Jones and R. White to help relieve pressure from QB Ryan.

Their QB Ryan had a decent season in 2014 as he passed for some 28 TD’s and 4.695 yards passing. His talented WR Jones had 1,595 yards in receptions and scored 6 TD’s for the season. White on his part had 7 TD’s and 922 yards on receptions. Thus their passing game is the strength of the Falcons.

On offense they have made changes including a new OC in K. Shanahan who come from the Browns of Cleveland, and has put together a group made up of D. Freeman, A. Smith and T. Coleman.

In the offseason the Falcons concentrated on their defense which struggled and even embarrassed themselves on occasions. Now that Atlanta has a new head coach in D. Quinn, they chose to select in the draft LB V. Beasley and CB J. Collins. That’s as their plans are to improve the defense against the passing game, as in 2014 they allowed on average the opponents to gains some 280 yards each game. The addition of Beasley will add to the Falcons pass rush, one that only had 21 sacks in 2014, which ranked 3rd in the NFL. The prediction on this 1st MNF game is that the Eagles cover their -3 line and beat the Falcons in a close game with Eagles 35 and Atlanta 31.
