AFC Favorites in 2010 NFL Preseason Betting

The Indianapolis Colts are the favorites in 2010 NFL preseason betting futures to win the Super Bowl. The Colts may have lost last year’s Super Bowl but they are favored to get right back there this year and win it.  It won’t be easy for the Colts in NFL preseason lines as the AFC has some very good teams.

0 NFL preseason betting odds list the Colts at 7.5 to 1 to win the Super Bowl.  They are the top choice in the AFC. The Dallas Cowboys are the second choice to win it all followed by the New York Jets.  The Jets made the AFC Championship game last year and they look even better in 2010.  They added cornerback Antonio Cromartie, running back LaDainian Tomlinson and wide receiver Santonio Holmes. The Jets will have to deal with the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East so their path is not easy. Miami went out and added wide receiver Brandon Marshall and linebacker Karlos Dansby so they should be improved.  Buffalo has virtually no chance in the AFC East.

The AFC North looks to be very competitive with Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati battling for first place. The Ravens are the favorite in future NFL preseason lines with the addition of wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Donte’ Stallworth expected to open up the offense.  Pittsburgh is hurting with the suspension to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger but they are still very talented and Cincinnati is the defending division champs. Cleveland could be improved with quarterback Jake Delhomme leading the way.

The Colts are the pick in the AFC South with a great offense led by Peyton Manning. The Houston Texans are getting close but that has been said for many years now. They have a great duo in Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson but they simply don’t win games tin the clutch. The Jaguars are totally unpredictable while Tennessee enters the season with all kinds of trouble with star running back Chris Johnson threatening to hold out and Vince Young in trouble again.

The AFC West has the San Diego Chargers who win in the regular season and lose in the playoffs. The Broncos are well coached but they have holes on their roster. The Chiefs and Raiders made some nice moves and could be improved.
