NFL Power Ratings Week4 –The Men of Steel

NFL Power Ratings have to have the Pittsburgh Steelers at the top after their 3-0 start in which they have gotten the money all three games with a 3rd and 4th string starting quarterback. The Kansas City Chiefs garner the 2nd spot as they are a potential worst to first team in the AFC West after a 3-0 start in which they have also paid out all 3 times.  This is no fluke as the Chiefs are winning with defense and a brutal ground attack.

The other undefeated team in the NFL gets the third spot in this week’s Sbgglobal.com list as the Chicago Bears upset the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night football with a solid defense and vastly improved Jay Cutler to take over sole possession of first place in the NFC North.

The Atlanta Falcons get the 4th spot after their big win and payout with the NFL odds at New Orleans against the defending Super Bowl champions.

Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles rank 5th on the list this week after back to back wins that have them at 2-1 straight up, and in first place in the NFC East.

The Seattle Seahawks get the 6th spot in this week’s rankings as Pete Carroll has definitely changed the culture and expectations that have helped lead to a 2-1 start and a share of first place in the NFC West.

The 2-1 Baltimore Ravens are 7th in this week’s NFL Power Ratings.  There is too much talent and defense to write this team off but quarterback Joe Flacco needs to perform like a 3 year pro rather than a rookie.

The 2-1 New York Jets rank 8th this week as their power running game and improved quarterbacking plus defense makes them a threat any time they take the field.

Coming 9th are the Arizona Cardinals.  A combination of luck and Coach Ken Whisenhunt has them at 2-1 and looking for more.

A tie for 10th would be the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings, who both got much needed wins with the NFL odds last week to prove that they are capable and back.
