NFL Odds – Week 9 Public Plays

The favorites bounced back a little bit in Week 8 so the public got some wins against the NFL odds. Will that trend continue in Week 9?  Let’s look at who the public likes against the NFL lines at Sbgglobal for Week 9.

New Orleans Saints
The public is in love with the Saints this week. They see last week’s game against Pittsburgh and think that the Saints will roll into Carolina and win easily against the rotten Panthers.  We’ll see.  The Saints have normally struggled against the Panthers so it may not be that easy.

New England Patriots
The public also loves the Patriots this week.  The Patriots are in a huge letdown spot though and the Cleveland Browns are not a horrible team.  The number on this game is small and the public can’t get enough of the Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts
The public watched the Colts rout the Houston Texans on Monday night and they like the Colts on the road at Philadelphia vs. the NFL lines.  It is surprising to see a road underdog getting a lot of love from the public but the Colts are an exception.

New York Jets
The public continues to love the New York Jets.  Last week the Jets were a bust as they were shut out by Green Bay.  New York is favored at Detroit this week but this is not the same Lions team that is horrible.

New York Giants
The other New York team is also getting a lot of love from the public. The Giants are a popular pick at Seattle this week.  Laying almost a TD on the road though is never easy but the public doesn’t seem to care.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The public likes another road underdog this week in the Bucs.  Normally the public likes home favorites but this week they really like Tampa Bay in a first place battle in Atlanta.

Total Plays
The public likes almost every game this week over the total.  So what else is new? The public’s favorite total plays this week are Arizona and Minnesota over the total, the Colts and Eagles over and the Giants and Seahawks over. The public also likes the Chargers and Texans over, Saints and Panthers over, Saints and Panthers over, Cowboys and Packers over, Chiefs and Raiders over and the Patriots and Browns over the NFL odds.
