The Jaguars lost their road opener to the Minnesota Vikings in a close game, with the Vikes winning 26-23 in overtime. QB Blaine Gabbert had a good showing, throwing 23-of-39, for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough. RB Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 77 yards on 19 carries. This was a heartbreaking loss for the Jaguars, who were up 23-20 with :20 seconds left in the fourth quarter. However, the Jags have scored 17 or more points in just 3 of their last 19 games.
