Two years ago it was Tennessee winning 31-14 at home. The Titans have won four of the last five at home against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Defense vs. Johnson – This game comes down to Pittsburgh’s ability to stop Chris Johnson. Not many teams have been able to stop the reigning Offense Player of the Year. He has rushed over 100 yards in 12 straight games. He is only two behind Barry Sanders for the consecutive 100-yard game record at 14. If any defense is to stop Johnson it would be Pittsburgh’s. They completely shut down Michael Turner of the Falcons last week in their overtime win. Last season the Pittsburgh defense held Johnson to only 57 yards on 15 carries.
Tough Game for Pittsburgh – This is a tough game for the Steelers. They won at home in overtime last week in their first game without Big Ben. Winning at Tennessee on the road without their quarterback is going to be a lot tougher. The Titans were excellent last week on both sides of the ball. You have to think they will completely shut down Dennis Dixon and the Pittsburgh offense. Johnson should be able to find a little running room and unless Vince Young makes a bunch of mistakes you have to like Tennessee’s chances of covering the NFL betting number at Sbg global.
