NFL Betting – Pittsburgh Favored at Cleveland.  The Pittsburgh Steelers are favored on Sunday in NFL betting as they face the Cleveland Browns.  It is a very important game for the Steelers as they will clinch the AFC North and a first round bye with a win. Gamblers making an NFL bet at Sbg global.com are definitely leaning toward taking the Steelers in this game.

Steelers Own the Browns

Pittsburgh has won nine of the last ten games against Cleveland. They are 5-4-1 in NFL betting in those games. Pittsburgh won 28-10 at home earlier this season against the Browns. Pittsburgh was a 14-point favorite in that game and covered the spread. The one win that Cleveland did get in the last ten games against Pittsburgh did come last year when they won 13-6.

Steelers Want the Bye

Pittsburgh is very focused on getting the bye so there will be no question of motivation. They could also get the bye if Baltimore loses their game at Cincinnati but that doesn’t seem likely. The Steelers will want to take care of business and win this game against Cleveland. Last week the Steelers routed Carolina 27-3 as Ben Roethlisberger was virtually flawless. He was 22 of 32 for 320 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. Wide receiver Mike Wallace had 104 yards receiving for his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season. The Steelers are 4-3 ATS this season on the road. Their last two road games have both gone under the total.

Browns are Fading

Cleveland was a nice story earlier this season with rookie quarterback Colt McCoy playing well and Peyton Hillis running over people. No more. McCoy looks like a rookie and Hillis has hit the wall. McCoy threw three interceptions last week and the Browns lost to Baltimore. Hillis did nothing as he rushed for just 35 yards against the Ravens. The Browns are now 10-21 under head coach Eric Mangini. This might be the last game for Mangini who could be fired after the season is over. Cleveland is just 2-5 ATS at home this season so it is hard to have too much confidence making an NFL bet on the Browns in this game. Even though last week’s game went under, three of the last four Cleveland home games have gone over the total.
